Designing an integrated health science center in the Dominican Republic

Project scope:

This institution, the country’s largest private university, is developing an integrated health science center which will include a hotel and commercial office space for health care related uses.

Collaboration with PHMI:

PHMI is providing assistance with the development of both the academic and physical infrastructure of this new institution. In collaboration with O&M’s design team, PHMI has completed the development of a master site plan and is now engaged in development of detailed design work for the hotel, school and medical offices. Construction will begin in fall of 2009. Work also continues on the development of an innovative curriculum and programs to support leadership and faculty development.
